Flip the sofa on its side/back
So you can access the base frame.
Position the glide- Place it where you want support (usually near corners or edges)
- Slightly inset from the edge if you want it hidden
Mark the hole (optional but helpful)- Use a pencil through the centre hole
Pre-drill a small pilot hole (recommended)- Especially if the wood is hardwood
Drive a screw through the centre hole- Use a wood screw (not included)
Typical screw size: 20–30 mm long (depends on frame thickness). If your sofa base is thin plywood, use shorter screws.
- Screw straight through the glide into the frame
Tighten until snug
Don’t overtighten, or you might crack the plastic
