How to attach the leg to the furniture frame using a T-nut fastener:
- If you can access the top of the frame, it is best to attach the T-nut there, away from the corner block.
- To do this, drill a hole through the frame from top to bottom using an 11mm drill bit.
- Attach the T-nut to the top of the frame and screw the leg's threaded stem into the T-nut through the hole from the base of the furniture frame.
This method prevents a leg attached using a T nut fastener from being leveraged out of the frame when the furniture piece is dragged. Whereas, insert nuts are more secure and can be attached to the furniture frame's base along with the leg.
