24-inch straight steel back tacking strip with formed central prongs and a 'slip-on' nylon sleeve which provides an aesthetically softer edge while protecting the fabric.
Used to secure fabrics in place and create clean edges without visible fasteners such as staples.
Upholsters' typically use tack strips on the outside arms and backs of furniture to achieve a smooth, finished edge and eliminate hand sewing. These strips are most commonly used in a vertical position and on an outside back. Minimum order 10 strips.
