Upholstery back tacking strips made from steel with a 'slip-on' nylon sleeve, which provides an aesthetically softer edge while protecting the fabric. The central metal prongs are used to fasten and secure fabrics in place and create clean edges without visible fasteners such as staples. Upholsters typically use tack strips on the outside arms and backs of furniture to achieve a smooth, finished edge and eliminate hand sewing. These strips are most commonly used in a vertical position and on the outside back of furniture. Minimum order 10 strips.
