Osborne needles from the USA have long been considered a standard for fine quality.  Experience and efficiency in the art of needle making for over one hundred and seventy five years have produced the dependable tools well known throughout the trade.  All are nickel plated.  Osborne needles are measured by Standard Wire Guage (SWG) and shown in milimetre decimal equivalent.  Length is measured as an overall length from eye to point.  The shortest distnce (across) from eye to point is also shown.
