CALYPSO SLAT SHOE

The CALYPSO slat shoe (or 'pocket' or 'boot') is part of a range of integrated components.  Calypso is a side-mounting screw-in and/or framing staple fitted shoe system.  The Calypso slat shoe is designed to accept 2 x 38mm wide flat slats per shoe/row.  A third 38mm slat with slat separator is also possible in the Calypso system. Slats are available in a variety of lengths to suit the bed width.  Additional components consist of a CAP COVER to hide the screw and/or staple heads.  Source code is 240-1061.  Colour available is Beige 44889.
Heavy weight-bearing areas of the bed, such as shoulders and hips, can be given greater support with the addition of a 3rd slat to form a triangle.  The CAP COVER is replaced with a COVER C/W LEDGE to support the lower slat (cut to a shorter length) and an OMEGA SPREADER to separate the 3 slats and permit tension adjustment on those rows.  Dimensions of the Calypso slat shoe are shown in image 2.
